Innovative Technology Components

Any individual deployment of the protectedpdf technology will have two essential components:

1. The standard protectedpdf software engine, for creating protected documents
2. The publisher’s own customized External Identity Provider (EIP)

A publisher’s EIP, will include all of the technology and user interface elements an organization will need in order to:

• Authenticate reader credentials and unlock protected content

Flexible Deployment

For maximum flexibility, these components have been designed so that they can be:
